Peter and John Conant
Congratulations Peter and John!!!!!
John Conant has been with me for the past five years. John is attending Leonardo Da Vinci High School in Davis, CA. John plays 2nd trumpet in the High School Symphonic Band and in the Symphony.
John's younger brother, Peter has been with me for the past 3 years. He's in the 7th grade attending Holmes Jr. High School and playing 1st trumpet.
History of the Awards
I have been teaching in Davis since 1989. I created the student of the month award in 1992. The purpose of this award is to reward the students who practice every day and show great improvement every month. There are eleven winners per year, and the Student of the Year Award. I also created the Bill and Ken Peron Scholarship Award, which honors my late dad and brother. The winner receives one month of free lessons.
