Tomcat Trumpeters Student Of the Month

Lindsay Stebbins has been studying with me for the past five years. She is a

Junior at Davis High School, playing in the Symphonic Band. Lindsay is also learning

how to play jazz. This is her third Student Of The Month Award!

History of the Awards

I have been teaching at Watermelon Music for 15 years. I created the student of the month award in 1992. The purpose of this award is to reward the students who practice every day and show great improvement every month. There are eleven winners per year, and the Student of the Year Award. I also created the Bill and Ken Peron Scholarship Award, which honors my late dad and brother. The winner receives one month of free lessons.
